Come out and support the ladies of ABDE when they perform at the Travel & Adventure show.

The World Heritage Cultural Center sponsors the Global Beats Stage for the event – a multicultural stage of music and dance.   The Travel & Adventure show and Global Beats Stage travels to LA, DC, CH, NY, Santa Clara, San Francisco, ATL and they are coming to Dallas again this year!  The World Heritage Center invites local groups from each city to showcase their work on the Global Beats Stage and the ladies of ABDE are honored to be selected to perform this year!

The traveling show will be in Dallas at the Dallas Convention Center on November 12 and 13 of 2011 from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

ABDE performances are scheduled for the following times:

Saturday, November 12th 2011 @ 2:30 pm
Sunday, November 13th 2011 @ 1:00 pm

Also, please stop by and visit with us at our booth where we will be selling items to support the academy.  This will be a fabulous event!  The stages are always packed in each city… last year 15,000 people showed up, and this year is sure to be the same!  Hope you can join us and please check out the websites below for more information.

Starting in mid September, the ladies of ABDE will be performing at Little Greek, a new restaurant in Richardson!  Please join us for OPENING WEEKEND on Friday, Sept 16^th and Saturday Sept. 17^th.  Show begins at 7:00 pm!

We will perform there regularly on Friday and Saturday nights from 7:00 – 7:45 pm  See you there! Opa!

Celebrate the Middle East with the lovely ladies of ABDE at The Irving Public Library!

The Authentic Belly Dancing Entertainment and Academy will present a family friendly Belly Dancing performance complete with live dancers, canes and swords. The troupe will also teach the audience some dance steps.

East Branch will celebrate the Middle East from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 17. The festivities will start off with live camels dressed in cultural tapestries and a presentation by Doug Baum of the Texas Camel Corps on the history and culture of camels in the Middle East. Other festival activities will include authentic belly dancing, a puppet show of a traditional Middle Eastern tale, live music and food samples. Throughout the afternoon, participants can stop by the henna tattoo booth to learn about the rich history of this art form and get a temporary tattoo of their own.

The festivities are from 1-5 pm on Saturday September 17th, 2011

The Belly Dancing Demonstration will be from 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.

The ladies of Authentic Belly Dance Entertainment & Academy will be participating in an Open House on September 11th at Bollywood Arts Performing Center!

The open house is for all ages (4-65yrs) interested in learning Kathak, Bollywood, Salsa, Yoga, Belly, Hip hop and Zumba. It will be held in Irving and it is free!!
