Top sitting is Athena/to her right clarinet, still one of Greece’s top -Panayotis (Pete) Haliyannis
Bottom left, another top Bouzouki player John Angelou, singer
I don’t remember but middle is famous Turkish dancer Princess Nyeela,
Far right famous clarinet Costas Stavastakis. I can’t swear to the correct spelling.( We SAT!)
For some reason these pictures were not laid out right. Obviously all three pictures on the “bottom” are Princess Nyeela. Top right is Princess Nyeela sitting in the middle. As you can see how the stage is, we
sat until our turn. Nyeela also taught me everything I knew about stage makeup. She was also just as
good as Ozel as not only a dancer but entertainer. A real good hearted sweetheart.
The top “left” picture is me in a backbend and Athena’s husband John to her left.

Jayne! I remember your mom, she was soooo beautiful – that amazing hair she had! You and I went to school together.
I also remember how much fun it was going to your house, where we used to “bedazzle” our Barbie’s clothes with beads, sequences and ribbons from Nyeela’s costumes!
I’m sorry for your loss.
