Harem Jewels, Neenah, Amina and Anna were hired to perform a new Rap Song entitled “Medicine”, which received rave reviews by the song artist because the choreography Neenah created paid attention to detail of the Music and the design of the costumes enhanced the atmosphere !!
Authentic Belly Dancing Academy Re-Opening
We are hoping that all of you are well and safe. It’s been a long period of isolation for everyone and it will feel great to be back in class. We are preparing and implementing many things at the studio to ensure we are safe. We will continue to monitor and carry out Public Health recommendations as they are announced. We’ve always taken pride in keeping our dance family healthy and safe is our top priority.

Some of the preventive steps we will have in place include maintaining social distancing. No street shoes are to be worn inside the studio, so please remove your shoes before entering and put them into your dance bag. Wearing a mask is mandatory unless you have upper respiratory problems. Unmasked students will be on one side of the room and masked students will be on the other side of the room. Designated spots on the dance floor for each student for safe distancing. Mandatory hand sanitizing is available for before & after class. If possible, pay your tuition on line via pay pal or on our website. Bring your own water. All studio surfaces will be wiped down between classes.
Everyone should make their own decision about coming to the studio and please do what you feel is best for you. Your health and safety means everything to us and we will do all that we can to make it a safe place for you to escape to again for some much needed fun and exercise.

Dear Class, as you know the Corona Virus has put us in a situation where we cannot be in class together; however, I have put together a collection of links below on the left from other belly dancing teachers that will help you tune up and build your technique so that when we get back together, your posture and technique will not be lost and we will be able to work on combination and choreography.

Neenah’s short and easy Workouts for Abs and Glutes
You have asked me what I do to stay fit and limber. I confess that I am just too busy and do not have the time to participate in workout sessions or go to the gym and spend hours working out. I am not good with machines and don’t understand them. However, I have a few favorite workout sessions that I sprinkle into my dance program. These help me build strong glutes and abdominal muscles. I have posted them to share with you. I hope you love them as much as I do!
They are powerful exercises to help you feel strong, and while they are simple in concept, they will not take much of your time to do!
